Let the feeling flow
It’s starting. People have stepped away and are standing around us. That intensive look in his eyes is
challenging me for a battle. Feels like air stopping it’s movement. “Just give
up, kiddo”, I hear him say. I’m not a
stereotypical dancer. Shortness is my strength, and I know he’s afraid. People
are making noises and they want us to show what we have got.
Hip-hop is my style, but my opponent is a Street and Break dancer extremely
badass type. My muscles are tensing, tanned skin of mine sweating I make the
first move. Our bodies aren’t touching, but I feel the coolness when the air is
blowing between us. His moves are amazing but way too cocky. Somebody is
playing music in the background.
The audience decides that he is a winner of our battle. I’ll be okay with that.
It feels like my body temperature is heating to 100 Celsius and I’m breathing
fast. Adrenaline is running through my body. Finally I smell cool fresh air.
Phew, it was like the best exercise ever.
